Imaginary architecture is an exploration of the relationship between touch, texture, activity and the perception of space.

A woodcarved map of hiding places. The hiding place map of the ground floor. A group project turning a travelling trunk into a mobile printing desk. A child's perception of space. The hidden house carved out of No. 24 Gilston Road, former residence of Alison and Peter Smithson. The plans of the hidden space designed for a boy, overlaid on to the Smithson's alterations of the house. The potential of a small space to trigger a game, and an infinite landscape of play. The hidden space is clustered with found details within the house. A forest of cornice molding. The 'extension' to the nursery, spreading through the house.
